Activities and Recreation in Banff

Tee Time
Located within a 10 minute drive is the renowned Banff Springs Golf and Curling Club, which offers great golf and fabulous views of the mountains, along with the occasional elk on the fairway.  Nearby in Canmore, a 20 minute drive, are the beautiful mountain golf courses, Stewart Creek and Silver Tip, and the local Canmore Golf and Country Club.  A 40 minute drive will take you to Alberta’s Kananaskis two 18 hole champion golf coursesMt. Kidd and Mt. Lorette, set in the heart of the Kananaskis Mountains.

It is only a quick 10 minute drive to canoe or raft on the Bow River, or drive a little further and, yes, surf on the Kananaskis River, on a standing wave.

• Mt. Norquay, located within the town of Banff offers relaxed easy skiing for the family;

For those interested in shopping, the shops of Banff are all within easy reach, only one block away.  Strolling distance with all the amenities from the City, Gap, the Hudson Bay store, La Cache, and many others.
